What's all this about?
Eighth Zone Studios, often shortened to "8ZS" and further to "Eightzees" (pronounced just like it looks), is a "group" consisting of one person, "Adrian Malacoda". Initially we (that is, I) sought out to create a unified brand for the several websites and project hosted on this one virtual server.
8ZS is not a legally organized company or foundation. It exists only in the minds of those who believe in it.
The "Eighth Zone" name comes from Dante's The Inferno, in which Dante's character travels through the many "levels" of Hell. The eighth level of Hell, Malebolge, is where sinners guilty of "simple" fraud are placed. The name carries with it a certain degree of irony, as Eightzees actively opposes many forms of injustice. The name of the organizer, Adrian Malacoda, also comes from this.
Eightzees does not actually worship Satan or commit evil acts. Nor are we associated with the "Malbolge" (note spelling) programming language, named simply because it is torturous to program in.
